Less is more.

A Spanish-inspired tapas recipe to add to your menu for the weekend. Cheese and chorizo flatbreads are perfect for sharing. Kavli’s Cheddar and Chorizo Whipped Cheese adds a soft and creamy taste with even more chorizo flavour to impress guests and leave them craving more.

120g Kavli whipped Cheddar and chorizo cheese
6 folded flatbreads
x1 bag rocket

Chorizo sauce mix
450g tomato passata
1½ tsp paprika
1½ clove garlic, crushed
¾ red onion, diced
¾ tsp of sugar
½ tsp of salt
¾ chorizo ring, cubed
tsp olive oil

Cracked black pepper


  1. Heat olive oil in a saucepan. Add red onion and garlic and fry for 2-3 minutes on a medium heat.

  2. Add the passata, paprika, sugar, salt and chorizo to this mixture and cook for a further 5 minutes.

  3. Grill the flat bread for 2-3 minutes or warm up in a medium heat pan.

  4. Place the flatbread, add a bed of rocket and the chorizo sauce mix.

  5. Add the Kavli whipped cheese on top and season with black pepper.
