Less is more.

Marry Me Chicken made creamy and even more delicious with Kavli Whipped Cheddar & Chorizo.

Ingredients

4 chicken breasts 

50g plain flour

2tbsp olive oil

2 garlic cloves, peeled and chopped

half white onion, peeled and chopped 

100g sun-dried tomatoes, drained
1tsp fresh thyme
2tsp paprika
Salt and pepper as taste
250ml double cream
450ml chicken stock, just use what is needed
120g Kavli whipped cheddar and chorizo
15g fresh basil leaves, thinly chopped.

Method

  1. Season each chicken breast with salt, pepper and paprika, and coat the breasts in
    the flour

  2. In a large, cast iron pan, heat the oil over a medium heat. When it’s hot, carefully
    add the chicken breasts. Cook for 5 minutes per side

  3. Remove the chicken to a plate, urn the heat under the pan to low and add the
    garlic, onion and sun-dried tomatoes. Stir for 3 minutes until the garlic and onion
    are softened

  4. Add some chicken stock (about 200ml) and fresh thyme and stir for 5 minutes or
    until the chicken stock has evaporated

  5. Add the cream, Kavli whipped cheddar and chorizo and give everything a good stir
    (cook for 5 minutes). If the sauce is too thick, add another 150/200ml of chicken
    stock

  6. Sit the chicken back in the sauce. Put the lid on the pan and cook for 5 minutes per
    side

  7. Check the chicken is cooked through. Remove the pan from the heat and sprinkle
    over the basil leaves. Serve with rice or pasta and enjoy!
